Mobil 1

New York City Pedestrian Plaza

Jack Morton Worldwide brought Sweeter in as their experiential marketing agency collaborator to partner on Mobil-1’s “Annual Protection” Motor Oil product launch in a New York City pedestrian plaza, near Madison Square Garden. The event was centered around a shoot-out contest between two sports legends, the NBA’s Dikembe Mutombo and NASCAR’s Kevin Harvick.

The Sweeter production team worked with NYC’s Department of Buildings to permit a basketball court buildout and with the Mayor’s Office to permit the plaza, as well as showcase one of Kevin’s NASCAR racing cars on site. Additionally, Sweeter secured an adjacent, indoor venue space utilized for green room and media relations spaces as well as provided a security team and catered refreshments for guests and VIPs.
